Overview
It is revered as the “God of Mari.” Mari means ball, and official balls are used in various sports, including Japan Football Association, are dedicated to the shrine. Many athletes come to the shrine to pray for improvement in ball games such as baseball and soccer, rhythmic gymnastics, and daily lessons.
